7th Pay Commission – NJCA says Central Government Employees are ready to fight against hopeless recommendations of 7th CPC in the areas like Minimum Pay, Fitment Formula, and NPS if Govt did not fulfill its promise within a time frame of four months.
Cabinet has approved 7th CPC's Recommendations But The Government has decided to Constitute a Committee headed by Finance Secretary for further examination of the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission on Allowances. Allowances at the existing rates( as per 6th CPC ) will be paid till the submission of report by the Committee.
7th Pay Commission – As the cabinet has referred Allowances hike to committee headed by Finance Secretary – Existing Allowances to continue till Committee submits report – Deferring hike in allowances will have major impact in the Salary of Central Government Employees
Normally the revised allowances which form part and parcel of the salary of the employees are granted with prospective effect i.e. from the date of the issue of the orders. The delay in taking decision on the 7th pay commission report will rob the employees of the increased allowances for ever, The NJCA press statement said.
