Decrease of 2.3% in Dearness Allowance for CPSU employees from April 2017

Industrial Dearness allowance (IDA) Calculator for Public Sector Undertakings Employees. 

7th CPC kept the same formula as it was in 6thCPC for calculating DA for CG Employees.3rd PRC for CPSU employees  also kept the same formula for calculating IDA

AICPIN for the month of February 2017

Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers – CPI-IW published All India Consumer Price Index for February 2017. AICPIN data is used to calculate Dearness allowance for Central Governmet Employees and IDA for CPSU Employees.

All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (BY 2001=100) for the month of February 2017 released by the Labour Bureau today.

The All-India CPI-IW for January 2017 remained stationary at 274 (Two hundred and Seventy four).

DA from January 2017 for Central Government Employees – Orders issued by Finance Ministry – 2% increase with effect from 1st January 2017 – All Central Government Employees would be entitled to DA of 4% from 1st Jan 2017

Cabinet approves 2% hike in DA for central government employees and pensioners

The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday approved a 2% increase in dearness allowance (DA) from January 1, 2017.The announcement, which is in line with recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission, will further boost earnings of 49 lakh central government employees and 55.5 lakh pensioners.
