Secretaries group is pushing for higher pay than the recommendation made by the 7th Pay Commission

A 13 members secretary-level Empowered Committee or Secretaries group, led by cabinet Secretary P K Sinha was formed in January to review the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission before cabinet nod and the Secretaries group is likely to submit its report before June 30.

The State Government employees under the banner All India State Government Employees Confederation today demanded the State government to implement the 7th pay commission in the State at the earliest.

The second State conference of the State unit of the All India State Government Employees Confederation (AISGEC) was held today at Lamyanba Shanglen.

Government is looking at including cruise tours under the LTC scheme

Aiming to increase cruise tourism, the Centre is mulling to include vacations on luxury ships under the Leave Travel Concession (LTC) scheme where government employees get their travel costs reimbursed.

7th CPC Major points on which the staff side is agitated

7th Pay Commission matters: The Government has appointed an empowered Committee of Secretaries headed by the Cabinet Secretary to process the recommendations of the 7th Pay Commission. The staff side and the Pensioners Associations have given Charter of demands to the Cabinet Secretary. First meeting with Cabinet Secretary was held on 1st March, 2016 .
